Biblical Tidbits For Thought For Christian Husbands (& wives too)
"Christian husbands, don't let your wives carry the emotional & spiritual responsibilities which you as men were created for"
"Each and every man knows how to lead even if they've never done it before because God created / built it into every male"
"Christian husbands, as you lead and as you allow Jesus to lead you to the right church to call home, don't just choose the kind of church that the watered down Christians of today choose, choose a church that holds you and your wife and your marriage accountable.  Choose a church that also has a men's & women's bible study / group that holds you two accountable to want to keep loving each other"
"Christian husbands, go on long date weekends with your wife.  Do a combination something really fun you'll both enjoy (which is why you're on this long date / vacation get-a-way weekend anyway).  If you two are away say like a Friday - Sunday or Monday or longer, be sure that or those Sunday morning/s you take the time to worship at a local church during your long weekend.  Just because you two are on a long date / vacation weekend doesn't mean you can't or shouldn't  take the time to still worship your Jesus on that Sunday.  Besides, you never know who the Lord is going to put in your path at that church whom He wants you to bless or whom He wants to have bless you.  You may meet another married Christian couple, hit it off great, have a great connection and they tell you two "the next time you two visit our location you stay with us"
"Your marriage is the loudest gospel message"

"Christian wives, stop using Ephesians 5:25 as a manipulative tactic against your Christian husband - "you're supposed to die for me"
"Christian husbands, stop using Ephesians 5:33 as a manipulative tactic against your Christian wife - "you're supposed to respect me"
"Christian husbands, get involved with as many Christian Church Men's Events through-out each week - each month - each year to keep you 100% busy in Jesus  {men's - breakfats, retreats, bible studies, groups, sharing the gospel etc}" because if you don't keep busy with Jesus, the enemy will keep you busy"
"Just as it takes two to make a marriage, it takes the same two to destroy the marriage and it takes the same two to want to restore the marriage"
"Husbands, listen up"
"1 Peter 3:7 says your prayers are answered according to how you treat your wife.  If you dishonor her and fail to treat her with great worth as an heir (partner) in this life, your prayers will be hindered.  Want your prayers to be answered?  Then be a Godly husband and love her as Christ loves the Church (Ephesians 5:25)"
"Titus 2:4 calls for wives to love their husbands.  A good description of the kind of love your husband needs is unconditional acceptance.  In other words, accept your husband just as he is-an imperfect person"
"1 peter 3:1-6
3 Wives, likewise, be submissive to your own husbands, that even if some do not obey the word, they, without a word, may be won by the conduct of their wives, 2 when they observe your chaste conduct accompanied by fear. 3 Do not let your adornment be merely outward—arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel— 4 rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the [a]incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God. 5 For in this manner, in former times, the holy women who trusted in God also adorned themselves, being submissive to their own husbands, 6 as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord, whose daughters you are if you do good and are not afraid with any terror"
"1 peter 3:7
7 Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered"
"Instead of you always jumping the fence to see if the grass is greener on the other side, why don't you start watering your own lawn"
